Ways to apply mold silicone ink

There are two ways to apply mold silicone ink.

One is molding the silicone directly on the fabric or garment and another is silicone molding transfer.

What’s the process of 3D mold silicone ink printing on garments?

• Firstly, we need to make a mold according the size and sharp of printing product.
• 2nd, applying the stir-welled silicone, catalyst and pigment according to a certain proportion on the mold.
• 3rd, Put apply-welled mold on the 3D transfer silicone label vulcanizing machine or embossing molding press machine,vulcanization molding is carried out under a certain temperature and pressure to solidify the silicone and form a shape consistent with the mold.
• After the vulcanization molding is completed, the mold is taken out of the equipment and demolding after cooling to obtain the molded 3D silicone logo.

How to print molding silicone directly on garments?

Material Preparation:

Mold silicone ink FY-3040 100G
Mold silicone catalyst FY-010B 10G Adding ratio 10%
Silicone pigment 10-15G Adding ratio 10-15%

Printing Process:

1. Stir well the silicone,catalyst and pigment and vacuum 30-60 seconds
2. Apply on the mold
3. Vacuum 30-60 seconds again after applying on the mold
4. Clean the extra silicone with a squeegee
5. Clean the mold surface with a cloth
6. Setting the temperature150℃ to 175℃ and press 18-26 seconds on the molding machine.

The above process is to molding the silicone directly on the fabric or garment. In this way, you should have very proven technique, make sure the fabric high temperature resistance and will not hurt the fabric or make the fabric dirty after heat press molding silicone.

How molding silicone transfer print on garments?

1^st,Applying the following mixing mold transfer silicone on the mold

Mold silicone FY-3040  80 G

Silicone catalyst FY-010B  8G  10%

Silicone Pigments 4G  5%

2^nd, Put the hot melt film, high temperature paper and cloth on the mold in order

3rd. Machine heat press including vacuum , venting and curing together. The name of this machine is 3D transfer silicone label vulcanizing machine

Cure temp : Upper temp 80-90 degree

Bottom temp 135-170 degree (temp depends on logo design and mold size)

Heat press for about 1 minutes including vacuum and curing.

4^th,Cold the mold ,remove scrap material,Shift the stickers on the position paper.

5^th  Heat press silicone stickers on fabric or T-shirt.

Heat press 15-20 seconds by 160-170 degree

Nowadays, most people choose the second way which is molding silicone transfer, because we can make a mold which contains many logo patterns, so we can produce many logo stickers for one time. Also in this way, it won’t hurt the fabric in comparison with molding silicone directly on garments.
