Flocking Silicone Ink Description:

Flocking silicone printing is a printing method which uses transfer printing technology to stick colored or white flock to fabric surface according to a specific pattern. The following are main characteristics of flocking silicone printing: stable printing performance,strong three-dimensional sense,strong scratch resistance,very soft touch and does not shed flocking.

FY flocking silicone adopts different formula which consists of only 2 components in comparison with others which contains 3 components. This technique has been widely popularized between our customers and got their unanimous approval at the same time.

Process & tips of flocking silicone printing

Preparation:

1.Mesh&Squeegee: 120(48T) Mesh number ;65-75 degree Squeegee.

2.Catalyst mixing ratio:10%  after mixing with catalyst about 1- 2 hours operation time.

3.Flash cure temp :120℃- 130℃ for 6-10 seconds ,

4.Curing temp :120℃- 130℃ for about 15 –20 minutes.

Flocking silicone printing tips:

1.Flocking silicone mixing :

Flocking silicone       FY-322        100G

Silicone catalyst        FY-600        4-5G  4-5%

Silicone thinner        FY-1#        10-20G  10-20%

If for dark color flocking, need to mix the flocking silicone&silicone pigment as the same or similar color of flocking color.

2.Flocking silicone printing:

Flocking silicone ink to print 3 times

For first printing need to flash by temp 120-130 degree ,

For second and third printing no need to heat ,print wet on wet to get thicker application for flocking by flocking machine.

3.Flocking by flocking machine.

Have to keep totally wet to flock, after flocking,heat by temp 120-130 degree

4.Brushing and Air cleaning.

5.After cleaning,cured by 120-130℃ for about 10-20 minutes.
