Puff Silicone Ink Description:
The effect of adopting puff silicone screen printing is as follows: Highly three-dimensional, with a raised printed surface, puffy, soft to the touch, and a fluffy feel. It’s widely used in fashion pattern design on cotton. There is two puff silicone, one is puff and another is suede puff, the process of these two types are the same, just use different silicone bases. The effect of suede puff silicone printing is just like flocking silicone printing.
Process of puff silicone printing:
Preparation:
1.Mesh&Squeegee: 100-120(40T-48T) Mesh number ;65-75 degree Squeegee.
2.Pigments added ratio: For white and fluorescent color 20%,other color 10%
2.Catalyst mixing ratio: 3% slow dry FY-300 and fast dry FY-600 can mix together for using.
3.Thinner FY-1# adding ratio: 10%
4.Flash cure temp : 100℃- 120℃ for 6-10 seconds
Silicone ink printing tips:
1 HD silicone FY-311 for under coating printing for 3 times
HD silicone/soft silicone FY-311 60G
Fast dry catalyst FY-600 1.8G 3% If machine printing to use slow dry catalyst.
Silicone thinner FY-1# 6G 10%
Cure by temp of 120℃ 6-10 seconds.
2 Puff silicone printing for 3-4 times
Puff silicone FY-313ST 60 G
Fast dry catalyst FY-600 1.8G 3%
Color pigment 6G 10%
Flash temp 100-120degree After finish to heat by 160-170 degree for 2-3 minutes or heat press by heat press machine 165-170degree for 12-16 seconds
